One small problem i am facing with my sony A7iii alonf with 200-600 lens i.e when i am in aperture priority at 6.3 camera is giving me a very slow shutter speed only if i pump up iso to 25600 then i am getting 1/250 of a second but such a high iso is creating lots of noise.

Is this problem because of some settings issue. Someone please help

Surely there is something wrong……is this a new camera or have u been using this camera earlier and this issue has recently started…r u able to get proper exposure in Shutter Priority mode and also in Manual Mode????…. if not then I would surely do a factory reset after removing the batteries and the memory card as well….also make sure there is no filters in front of ur lens and still if the problem continues I would get the camera checked by Sony Pro’s n Tech team

Okay thanks will try factory reset and see if that works.

No i am using it for more than a year and half, never faced this issue with the 75-300mm, got the 200-600 recently only now this problem is happening.

Shutter speed for a given ISO is directly dependent on amount on light falling on the subject. Without sharing those details difficult to provide solution. If you are shooting in very low light condition, then it will happen with any camera.

No sir actually what was happening was the settings were not accurate especially the ISO AUTO min SS that was causing the problem but it is resolved now. Thanks a lot!
