    Hello,

I am using an entry level Cannon 250D with a kit lens and EF 50mm lens. I am struggling in low light photography. Please let me know what I am doing wrong or what I need to take care off.

    Regards,

    Sheeraz

There are multiple issues related to lowlight photography:

    – Auto focusing will be pretty slow depending on the lens used.
    – You will not get a good shutter speed and again depends on the aperture of the lens.
    – If you use high ISO, you may end up with noise in image.
    – If you are doing handheld photography, then you may get shake in image.
    – Image quality may not be upto mark in low light.

Of course in my basics and advance fundamentals of photography course all these are explained and how to overcome these. That’s the whole purpose of these courses.

Please do follow the learning path document and understand all these concepts.

    Rgds,
    Sudhir
