    Hello fellow bird enthusiasts! ????

I’ll be in Bengaluru for a quick business trip and am thrilled to explore its avian wonders. I’m seeking your expertise on the best birding spots around the city. With just two days to spare, I’d love recommendations for places teeming with diverse bird species and picturesque landscapes.

Any local insights on hidden gems or must-visit locations would be incredibly helpful. Also, if you have tips for bird photography, I’m all ears!

Excited to hear your suggestions and make the most of this short but sweet birding adventure.

    Thank you in advance! ????

My recommendation is to go for Ranganthittu and I am sure you will love that place.

If you can spare a day and step out of Bengaluru but not too far then Ranganatittu is a great place as Sudhir sir suggests. In case you have only a few hours and have to be within the city boundaries then there are many lakes. I would suggest Saul Kere and/or Muthanallur Lake. Another one is Varthur Lake but may be difficult for a newbie to the city to locate and explore.

Thanks for the detailed information. First day I have reserved for Ranganathittu, second day I will explore from your suggested list. Thank you!
