In Z30 there is no AE ON button, but its interface is entirely different than the interface shown in lecture9/10 for entry level nikon cameras and for my surprise its interface is same as that of high end nikon camera where AE on setting can be done using Custom Setting > Autofocus > AF activation > Shutter/AF-ON , however even after doing so the shutter button is still focusing(as green square focus box are appearing; when i am pressing shutter button, but this should not happen when we are using BBF) and when i press AE-L/AF-L button there is no focusing(i.e. green square focus boxes are not appearing). Kindly explain

Choose whether the shutter-release button can be used to focus. If [AF-ON only] is selected, the camera will not focus when the shutter-release button is pressed halfway. Focus can only be adjusted using other controls to which AF-ON has been assigned using Custom Setting f2 [Custom controls (shooting)].
