Am planning to purchase this for my DSLR 1500D and in future if I upgrade my camera to mirror less will this work with that as well.

@ssp-support sir can you share your thoughts.

It will be supported, but with the help of an adapter as EF lens will directly not fit on RF mount of the camera.
