  Hello from Sudipta

  Hi All. I am Sudipta Tapan Sinha (my colleagues call me STS or Sudipto), a resident of Navi Mumbai (the flamingo city !).

  I am a professional geologist in the energy industry. Throughout my career, I have been into nature (rocks, landscapes, mountain building and ocean formation). Wildlife has been my passion since childhood, and I have been into this for more than 15 years. However, I was primarily interested in animal behaviour and its role in natural balance. I was doing photography with my essential gear. Then, during covid and lockdown period, while studying flamingoes in my backyard (in the literal sense), I realized I needed to upgrade my gear and move to the next level of photography.

  I travelled to many Indian national parks as well (Gir, Bandhavgarh, Pench, LRK, Ranthambhore etc.) multiple times. However, I took my epic journey in Kenya and Tanzania, which still feels like a dream.

  So, I intend to learn about nature and tell the story with my photos. I am learning and improving with my camera once I have started Sudhir’s online courses. I hope to join a photo tour with him one day to learn directly in the field.
