Impact on Aperture while using AF-S TELECONVERTER
Hi All,
I need some explanation on aperture. Basically, I’m using a Nikon Z8 camera with a Nikon 200-500 F5.6 lens (F mount with adapter). My question is whether using an additional 1.2x or 2x AF-S TELECONVERTER will affect the aperture of the lens. If so, is there any calculation?
Kindly advise.

Using a tele converter will reduce aperture by two stops . That’s what I have read but not used it .
