Is Sony RX10 IV good for beginner bird photography?
I am into birding and just got interested in photography more as a side hobby to birding. I am looking for a carry anywhere camera to begin with and may invest more few years down the line if the interest in bird photography sustains. Would the Sony RX10 IV be a good bridge to carry if I don’t want to over invest currently in more expensive camera+lens set up? Also how does it stack up against Nikon P1000?

Roopin, I do have the Sony RX10 IV and it’s amazing for birding and wildlife photography. It’s auto focus is at par with any of the other Alpha series camera and pretty fast for a bridge camera. It should serve the purpose for you.
