It is very unlikely that your application is shooting emails evry 5-10 minutes. Please control an emails,

I am sorry but we are missing our important emails, so request you to control email delivery. We don’t want to miss any important lesson either our important mails.

These are not junk e-mails but notifications e-mails based on your preference.

Please go to your notifications settings and turn them off.

You can go to below settings and under notifications turn off all e-mails are selective ones.
