Mumbai wildlife and birding spots

I will be traveling to Mumbai for a week in mid April. My mornings till 12 PM will be free. Any good birding hides in/ near Mumbai?

What all places should I visit for wildlife and birds? Thank you!

It depends on where you are staying in Mumbai . Few places that I visit are Bhandup pumping station, vasai salt pans , Bhuigaon beach, TS Chanakya point Nerul. Mahim nature park is recommended but I have not been there .

      Thanks, very helpful. I will be staying in Juhu but will be moving around and want to go birding all the days when I’m there 🙂

        You can try goregaon creek road for flamingos please check the low tide times before you go. This is behind mind space area. Veer Savarkar municipal park.
