Photography to paintings
<strong style=”background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color); font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>Hi Everyone,
I’m Avinash, a self-taught artist with a passion for creating portraits, landscapes, animal portraits, and comic art. While my primary medium is oil, I also enjoy working extensively with graphite and charcoal.
As an artist, I rely heavily on reference materials for my paintings. However, sourcing references from the internet often feels uninspiring, as many artists tend to use the same ones. This led me to pick up a camera and start creating my own references. My fascination with nature initially drew me into photography, but I’ve come to appreciate all genres equally.
Recently, I completed a photography essentials course by Sudhir Sir, and the improvement in my work has been truly rewarding.
I’m eager to connect with Sudhir Sir to discuss how perspectives might differ between capturing images that inspire paintings and those that stand out as unique and eye-catching photographs. I’d love to explore how these contrasting viewpoints might complement each other and enhance the creative process.
Looking forward to learning and engaging with this talented group!
Best regards,
Avinash
