Hi, I want some advice from experienced shutterbugs here.

I regularly wear specs (progressive), and I find it difficult to shoot through the viewfinder wearing the glasses. I tried to adjust the diopter it helped. However, I need specs for reading, so the LCD reading becomes difficult. Any suggestion/solution or practical hacks you guys use? I shall be obliged to have some ideas.

    I use Canon-R6.

    Hello Sudipta ji,
I have similar problem. Trying to look into the LCD after shooting with viewfinder is pain and wastes valuable time in the field. Nowadays I just look at the histogram without specs and see if the image is overexposed or underexposed. I don’t know if this is right but saves some valuable time. I have also started using eyeglasses strap to prevent it from falling in case I have to juggle between viewfinder and LCD. But then if there is any other way(jugad) of doing it, I will certainly appreciate. Keenly waiting for solutions if offered on this platform.

Thanks, Vivekji. I appreciate your method. Yes, it’s practical. I need to make an extra glass for photography only with some modifications.

I too have the same issue. I have to remove the specs for clicking but have to wear it to check the lcd.

Use specs with neckband. Specs can hang around the neck when using viewfinder and use it whenever you need to read and look around.
