If not photoshop, adobe lightroom is the tool of choice for me. So many of advanced features are included in lightroom nowadays that i barely go to photoshop for all photos. Otherwise nikon software is good for starting out in my opinion. Sorry i have no knowledge on the Corel paintshop.
