Why not! I’m selling my D7500 and getting a D500 instead to pair with my Nikkor 200-500 as the latter gives me better AF controls for birding. For large game I’m considering a Nikon Z50ii with Nikkor Z 50-250. Both systems will give me a coverage of 75-375 mm & 300-750 mm.
