    Hi,

I have an issue with the flickering in the camera under artificial lights, required your suggestion.

Is there any settings? Or what else I have to do.

Camera : Nikon Z5 Mirrorless Full frame.

    Lens : For now – Nikkor S lens 24-70 / F4

🔧 Steps to Fix Flickering on the Nikon Z5

    1. Enable Anti-Flicker Shooting

This is the most effective solution.

    • Go to Menu > Photo Shooting Menu > Flicker Reduction Shooting

    • Set it to ON

🔹 This helps the camera detect flickering and adjusts the shutter timing to minimize it.

🔹 Works best in shutter priority or manual modes.

If shooting in stills mode and flicker persists:

    • Try using shutter speeds like 1/100, 1/50, or 1/125—these are often in sync with the light’s flicker frequency.

    • Avoid fast shutter speeds like 1/500 or higher under artificial lighting unless you’re using continuous lighting that doesn’t flicker.
