    In the chapter 3.2 on custom white balance, we are shooting a white paper to set custom white balance for accurate colour. At that time what preset of white balance in camera-AWB, flash… to be selected. Should the shooting of white paper be done in day light before it is set as custom white balance or indoors where we have to shoot the scene. Should this be done every time when we are shooting indoors based on the interior lighting.

    You can choose any white balance when you have to set custom white balance. It does not matter as the camera will understand that you are giving it values for white. It cannot be done outdoors. It has to be done in the same lighting as where you intend to shoot. The custom white balance has to be set each time for indoors for changing light situation.
