Hi Yash . The most important part of the bird is in the Shadow Area which is the eye. U need to enhance the eye as there is a shadow cast.

Nikon D850 or Z7II

Hello Sir.

I have bottled down to the two above mentioned cameras the d850 and nikon z7II.

Heard that the D850 performs well when it comes to focusing as compared to the z7ii but there are other factors where the z7ii is superior.

Cannot decide on which would be a better upgrade from the 7200 body.

Mongoose..

I was returning from my walk in the jungle in Mount Abu..as I was alone. And looking at a big fig tree I suddenly saw a head pop out from the bark. At once set the camera down and fired a few shots because I knew he was not waiting. He was upto finding himself a mid-day snack or meal rather. And a few seconds later he left.

Hi Prakash. I’m goin to be really honest with my view on this picture.

Firstly ur angle of shooting is wrong this shot would look good from eye level. That’s is if u got lower unless u had limitation. (PS IF u have followed sudhir sir he has a shot similar to this and u can see how he isolated the subject by getting low)

REFLECTIONS.

Shot this a few days at Bhandup pumping station.

I know everyone would ask me to get low but keeping in mind that there is a 3-4 feet fall off the mounds to where the birds feed. Soo getting that low angle is a real challenge.

I have got maximum low I cud get. Shot this hand held while sleeping on the ground.

Feel free to critique.

A few days ago went upto Bhandup to watch and shoot the flamingoes. Was a marvel to watch them.

This photo was taken when a group decided to fly in to feed and the one in the photo was the one leading. Since it had a good distance from the rest I decided to isolate it and get a shot in flight.

Hi Rahul .. soo when it comes to the eyes i struggled alot prior … But I did the LRC course by Sudhir sir and he has clearly shown how to enhance the eye. You will have to make selective adjustments and play up with the sliders in terms of blacks, exposure, contrast shadows and whites.

My personal tip… something I usually do…

Hey Rahul …it’s a beautiful shot ..the frame fantastic…👌 Loved it. However if you could lay some emphasis on the eye. Just a personal opinion I’m sharing. But overall it’s wow.

Captured this in the morning after sunrise while walking through the jungle in Mount Abu. Did not have a lot of time since the camera was mounted on the tripod but yes I have cropped it for composition purpose because the original pic has the bird dead center.
