The flamingos are back in Mumbai. Shot this on the morning of the Republic Day near my house in Navi Mumbai. Mostly juvenile Flamingos who will very quickly turn pink giving the Navi Mumbai mangroves a pink hue. I shot this in APSC mode which gave me a focal length of 900mm. Post Processed in Lightroom and Photoshop

Bird name: Painted Rocks

Yesterday was a rainy day here at Chennai belt. I planned to drive up towards North of Chennai. The place called Pulicat lake. This is the 2nd biggest back water lagoon after Chilka in Odisha. Although it was not a session for bird watcher but choose the day to try my hands on new Tamron G2 lens.

This photo was taken at Kanha National Park. I used bean bag when shooting to avoid any hand shakes. Also, an important observation instead clicking few pictures and rushing from the scene we waited for 30-40 mins. That’s when the langurs got comfortable giving better opportunities to click photos.
