Sir, Thanks for the detailed input.I have a query on the lowest f no supported by the lens.Why would we not stop down to bring more details on the subject when the subject is close enough the the background is far enough to have the required background blur for depth of field.

Agreed. I would have also liked more space at the bottom. However,this was the best frame with the trunk folded. RAW version enclosed.

Pls try recover the shadows in post. We have missing details in the dark pixels. Ps try to selective processing and see if it provides a better impact. Also, I would prefer the subject not to be in the centre.

Thanks for feedback. Unfortunately there are no information on those pixels(this was confirmed by the histogram as well).In fact there is very minimal information on those highlighted portions pointed out. I tried to underexpose with increase the contrast with selective processing. This was the best output that I could manage though I am not happy.
