Saw these cubs of tigress Neelam from Kanha emerge from behind a hillock. It was late morning and the light was harsh. One of the many shots captured and in this sequence. This cub was trying to force its way into finding a place in between its other 2 siblings to sit and observe. Shortly after this, all 3 left following the exact same path…

I really like the edit! Makes the photo very interesting. Would it have been possible to make the face pop a little more? Took me a few seconds to understand the structure of the bird.

Crested Serpent Eagle

Captured while it was sitting still on a branch and I wonder if it was observing its prey. While there are branches around it, found this position where nothing was obstructing it for the most part. Also, liked how the thick branch is also leading the eye to the subject.

@sudhir sir, for an image like this, would you perceive the branch as a distraction splitting the image and competing with the subject or a leading line to the subject or something else? Greatly appreciate your insights if you get a chance to review this. Thank you.

Thank you! Honestly, split between both. The brach in the lower right seemed to be grabbing my eye and ends up as splitting the image.My initial thought on the branch was it will be a leading line to the subject but appears to be much more dominating than initially thought. Thanks for your feedback. There was a lot more place to move parallel to bird than perpendicular as we were constrained by the path. Plus we were in a gypsy as well. Will keep an eye out for this next time.

Hey Rajesh, great shot! It could just be me, feel that the extended branch on the left is distracting my eye away from the bird. Perhaps cropping it out could make the eye focus on the bird solely (pl refer to image attached) ? Just my thoughts. Great work!

Hey All,

I’ve recently noticed that the A74 just does not focus. Thought maybe it’s low light but also noticed this is daylight with good contrast between subject and surrounding.

Happened once in evening and unfortunately missed sloth bear with its cub shot. Latest incident is after being switched on for about maybe 2 hours continuously and…
