Nikon Z9 and 800 mm f6.3, Aperture priority, ISO 1250, 1/2000,
Intensionally kept slightly higher shutter speed coz I was in the moving boat with sturdy tripod and gimbal.

This image of Spotted Owlet is shot at bangalore where this owlet was peeking out of the hole in a palm tree. This image was shot during late morning and with leaves of the palm tree behind, I decided to go low key for this.

As the ODKF season slowly ends, I returned to the Karnala Forest yesterday for one last sighting. As it was raining heavily, I had to pump up the ISO even with a tripod. The image is fully processed in Lightroom Classic—the power of LRC Denoise works wonders. I had to keep the image slightly underexposed to keep the ISO at the minimum.

Oriental White eye. Taken at my house in Bangalore. Tiny bird and does not stay for long. I had to preempt the shot and take a chance at pre focusing on a branch, it would land up at. Got lucky and had about a second to get a good image.

During one of the morning walks, I found this Red Whiskered bulbul sitting nicely on the one of the hay. As the wind was blowing there were lot of straws and weeds which were coming on the way, so during post processing I had to remove some of the distractions and do a bit of cropping to get the frame I was looking for.
