EF lenses can be used on mirrorless bodies with an adapter. The other way around is not possible I believe.

There are several advantages with mirrorless- many online reviews.

I would recommend using eBird. Find a place near where you are visiting and explore the map in that region.

I use a benro supadupa monopod with a wimberley gimbal head – works really well with a 600 f4.

Do check out this head over a fluid head which is more suitable for tripod
