Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher
This photo was taken today near Mumbai from a hide overlooking a stream where ODKF are feeding younglings.
I tried to take few in flight shots but the light was very low in the jungle.

Taken on a tripod, edited to increase texture, sharpness of the subject and reduce in the background.

This pic was shot at Jungle Lodges, Old Magazine House, Ganesh Gudi, Dandeli. It was close to the end of the day and light was very low. Almost no processing in LRC, cropped a bit to adjust for the composition and exposure adjustment (+.59) and sharpening in Topaz Sharpen. Flying Peacock

The image is taken at Umred Karhandala, just after we started morning safari. we spotted few peacocks sitting on tree. being low light. I was not prepared to capture any action shot. all of sudden I saw movement.

Generally I keep camera in Aperture priority in such situation, that day it was on manual.
