Atlantic puffin pair bonding together.

I wish I could get a lower angle but the scene happened quite suddenly and could not go down lower. However, I still am pleased with the framing as the flowers in the foreground and ocean blues in the background give context. Would love to know what you think.

A bold adult male Montagu’s Harrier allowed a close approach, giving me time to experiment with different compositions. After moving around the habitat, I found a gentle slope that helped achieve an eye-level perspective.

Spotted doves and moon are my least favorite subjects to photograph, but together they formed an interesting composition. I setup my camera on tripod to compose the moon between the branches and waited for the nearby spotted owl to sit on the branch. Unfortunately the owl didn’t come in the open but the dove came to the perfect spot.
