<p>Photographed at around 8 am. Very cloudy surroundings. Diffused light. Bittern was at the top of the bushes surrounding the lake. Positioned self as near to the bird as possible, due to dense bushes. Moved around to get minimum distraction in the background.</p>

Due to extreme low light I had to use a very low shutter speed and had to lie completely down on my belly with using bean bag for support to get this shot.</p>
