Which one do you suggest between sony 400mm f2.8 or sony 300mm f2.8+1.4 teleconverter?

I’m looking to buy a used 400mm but when I test them I feel the motor rotating and a little bit of moving sound when I listen by keeping my ear on it.

Is that common for 400mm. I don’t feel that for my 200-600.

Hi all I’m a wildlife photographer. I have 200-600 and now I want to buy a used 400mm f2.8. I was testing it and I’m feeling the auto focus motor moving and a little bit of sound I can hear. Is this normal? I don’t feel that vibration on my 200-600.
