Welcome, if you ask me, Renting the Camera is a good idea.

Camera you can buy based on which field you are interested in. for example Wildlife Photography, Bird Photography, Macro Photography, Street Photography or Landscape Photography etc. And also, it depends on your budget you can afford.

Hi Abhijeet,

Even I have couple of old F mount lens.

To be honest using adaptor itself with the same make, you will find the difference in your pictures. I have experienced it in Nikon with Mirrorless Camera and F Mount Lens with adaptor. And am not sure about other makes.

I would recommend having both Mirrorless.

Hi Sai,

Welcome to the Group. I recommend that you publish your photographs with Exif Info so that you can get responses. Based on the input, you may offer some efforts. I, too, have a Z8 and experienced identical troubles in the beginning.

Also, go through the Bird Photography Videos; I believe these will be very helpful.

Its Learning Platform you can ask as much as questions you want 😀.

Now that you completed the Camera & Lens Buying Guide, hope you know what to buy.

You can finish the Basic Fundamentals and rent a camera and start applying the skills what you learnt.

Later you decide which Camera and lens to buy.
