Grey Hornbill, endemic to Sri lanka, clicked in Sri Lanka, in Dambulla. This is as close as I could get to it, it was deep inside the tree canopy, and was much harder to spot. Didn’t think I would see it there in that place. Sri Lanka is a place of amazing birds, but this one is quite hard to find. I got lucky that day!

Back from an incredible tour of the North Bengal. A quarter of a day was well spent with the Great Indian Hornbills in a place called Rongtong in the Darjeeling district. The image is entirely post-processed in the Lightroom Classic.
