Rainbow Lorikeet at bath time.
This was a chance capture, was photographing a turtle in the water when this lorikeet landed in water and splashed around for sometime. Had to switch settings and composition quickly to capture action. Captured hand-held and this was as low as I could go, given the high bank around the lake.

Captured this beautiful royal spoonbill in the shallow waters during low tide during sunset. Photo was taken handheld, lying down on the beach for quite a while till he got comfortable to move closer to me.

Little Egret clicked at a lake in Melbourne, Australia. Clicked in the evening about an hour before sunset- overcast sky and the setting sun shinning through only in weak bursts. The banks of the lake are higher so getting eye level with water isn’t an option.
