Not really a strict macro photography but this was taken in Bangalore just as the rains had stopped and the dragon fly sat on a leaf. The objective was to capture the mood of the environment and the natures best predator lurking in the garden waiting for an unsuspecting prey to come closer for a kill.

This is stack of 6 pics of this beautiful spider species I saw in the garden. The depth of field even at f16 is less to get the whole of it in focus. So took a stack of six pics with different parts in focus and merged in PS
