Vasai salt pans in suburbs of Mumbai .

The cormorant was sitting with in a grassy field , drying its wings . It was at a great distance and I had to struggle to get close through the grass field . I composed the shot keeping the bird on right one third and waited for it to look to the left .

Today’s pic is from a vacation to Valparai in the monsoon. The streams and rivulets were full of fast flowing water. This photograph was shot from a narrow bridge as the water flowed beneath. These ducks call yellowstone nat. park their home for limited amount of time in spring. The idea was to get the smooth flowing waterfall while focusing on the ducks. This was achieved at slow shutter speed. Handheld.

Baby langur waves at her buddy the Chital reminding us of the Mutualism they share. This pic was shot in the evening safari in tala zone in and was a very long shot at 400mm and had to crop the image to get that rim light around the subjects with slight light room adjustments.
