I wanted to share another hornbill image from my recent tour of North Bengal. The trip was an incredibly enriching experience for me. I used Lightroom Classic and Photoshop to process the image. Most of the processing was done in Lightroom, while I used Photoshop to remove distractions and do some dodge and burn adjustments.

Bird name: Painted Rocks

Yesterday was a rainy day here at Chennai belt. I planned to drive up towards North of Chennai. The place called Pulicat lake. This is the 2nd biggest back water lagoon after Chilka in Odisha. Although it was not a session for bird watcher but choose the day to try my hands on new Tamron G2 lens.

This photo was taken at Kanha National Park. I used bean bag when shooting to avoid any hand shakes. Also, an important observation instead clicking few pictures and rushing from the scene we waited for 30-40 mins. That’s when the langurs got comfortable giving better opportunities to click photos.

“A lonely calm Wood Pelican”..This picture is part of my 5day trip to Everglades national park,Florida(USA) and happen to visit Tenthousand islands. Its soo calm and stay on the wood for hours and it looks for an opportunity to catch the fish.
