RESTING BULL

Location – a village near Savandurga, just outside Bangalore.

Details: This picture was taken on a drive toward Savandurga. The lighting on the bull’s skin captured the organic form so nicely, especially the skeleton and the musculature caught my eye, since the animal was of a light grey colour – it was just perfect for monochrome.

Jungle owlet ( I see you )

Early morning in Pench national park the light was low. I had to steady my lens on the gypsy to use low shutter speed in order to get a decent exposure.
In post gave the surroundings a sepia look to reduce the greens and increased the yellows slightly to highlight the eyes.

A picture from our vacation at the Jungle Lodges, Old Magazine House, Ganesh Gudi. My first birding session. Low light in the afternoon. With Super telephoto lenses like 600mm with 1.4TC, i didn’t believe i can take a picture of moon which is almost 360,000 kilometers and this much clear. “Live by the sun and love by the moon” is true here.
