RESTING BULL

Location – a village near Savandurga, just outside Bangalore.

Details: This picture was taken on a drive toward Savandurga. The lighting on the bull’s skin captured the organic form so nicely, especially the skeleton and the musculature caught my eye, since the animal was of a light grey colour – it was just perfect for monochrome.

Driving down a twisty road.

This photograph was shot enroute to Bangalore from Valparai. It was early morning and the sun shining through the foliage was just so beautiful to look at. This pic was shot at Mandaragiri Betta near Bangalore. Early morning lighting lit the rocks at a shallow angle to enhance the texture and the shapes. Cropped it in a square format to avoid background distractions. Processed in LRC converted to B&W, adjusted exposure, contrast and texture to show off the rock.

This picture was shot during a vacation to Assam & Meghalaya, Dec 2016. Shot from the ferry across the river. The sunset was quite spectacular, the haze on the river picked up some interesting hues as the fisherfolks wound up their day and returned to shore with their catch.

This photograph is from Bhutan, we were driving and just came out of a curve to see this nice buliding actually a home with a small restaurant on the ground floor. Processed in LRC to brighten the shadows, touched up the exposure a bit and added a bit of contrast.
