This image was clicked in the Bird Hide this April in the late evening and since light was very low, I was using spot metering mode to get the background complete dark and light only on the subject.

Sharing a pic from a trup to Kaziranga. A line of turtles sunning themselves on piece of driftwood. I think these are called the keel boxed turtle, perhaps experts here could help identify the species better.

Lady bug in the garden . I find them very difficult to shoot as they are at an angle that the eyes are not visible properly . This one was sitting at a flat plane with the little water drops to get the eyes in focus .

REFLECTIONS.

Shot this a few days at Bhandup pumping station.

I know everyone would ask me to get low but keeping in mind that there is a 3-4 feet fall off the mounds to where the birds feed. Soo getting that low angle is a real challenge.

I have got maximum low I cud get. Shot this hand held while sleeping on the ground.

Key tip for wildlife photography:

Shoot in Aperture priority mode and keep the f-number to the lowest supported by the lens. Just play around with the ISO to get a shutter speed. This works 99% of the time.
