Breakfast

This is shot at home (Kashmir) in the morning. I was watching a streaked laughing thrush collecting twigs for building it’s nest. Right then a bulbul flew and started picking this insect. I quickly moved from capturing the thrush to shoot the bulbul.

REFLECTIONS.

Shot this a few days at Bhandup pumping station.

I know everyone would ask me to get low but keeping in mind that there is a 3-4 feet fall off the mounds to where the birds feed. Soo getting that low angle is a real challenge.

I have got maximum low I cud get. Shot this hand held while sleeping on the ground.

Key tip for wildlife photography:

Shoot in Aperture priority mode and keep the f-number to the lowest supported by the lens. Just play around with the ISO to get a shutter speed. This works 99% of the time.

I saw these stocks together in a very interesting formation. Bending their heads and seem as if trying to persuade the lone one who seems angry.
The surrounding was green owing to recent rainfall.

A Bonnet Macaque with her young ones. This image was captured at K-gudi Wilderness Camp in BRT Tiger Reserve. We were getting ready for our safari and then suddenly I saw some activity of these monkeys so I grabbed my camera and fired some shots.

Visited Thane Creek Flemingo sanctuary Airoli yesterday. Though not yet good, got some reasonable photos of Flamingos. It was very difficult for me to shoot in moving boat & Flamingos flying all around but thanks to tips by sir I got through all in one course.
