Nice portrait: good blured out of focus background with subject isolated. I think whites in subject is over exposed, since raw image ss is not there compositiion wise bird and perch coud be little bit on lower of the frame to show negative space in balanced way. Thanks

Metering usage

Dear Sudhir ji, I use eveluative metering mode with my canon R5 pairs with RF 100-500 mm lens, is it advisable to change to Spot metering while taking cropping/ close up shot , given subject is co-operative and we get enough time to change setting.

Close up Portrait of a Male Lion of a Gir National Park Route no.10 , May – 2023, evening safari (4:00 pm to 7:00 pm)

This was my last fourth and last safari of tour. No siggting happened in earlier safaries. This lion and a lioness were mating and both seemed to be aggressive in behaviour. This is a cropped image.
