Sorry, what do you mean by switch over from one place to another? Need more information about the auto focus settings.

You can go for the Sony 24-105 and at 105mm you can get that nice clear blur out of focus background.

I would any day love to use a FF compared to a APS-C. The additional magnification you get can always be cropped when you use a FF.

I would highly recommend you to upgrade to Sony mirrorless, since you mentioned wildlife. Any other brand will be a compromise unless you get the top of the line camera / lens.

Unfortunately you are too late in planning. For Corbett you need to plan at least 45 days in advance and for Ranthambhore at least 4-6 months in advance as all permits for premium zones are sold out.

Yes, to achieve a faster shutter speed, you have to increase ISO. Depending on what is happening the scene, you can decide what shutter speed you need. Using a tripod is the best thing to do.

In my course I explain about shootable ISO from a camera. You need to find out about that for your camera and decide till what ISO you can go up.

My recommendation is to go for the Sony 200-600 as that way you can take full advantage of the native lens power on a Sony camera. And yes, the Sony A7R5 would be good.

    Dear Sanjib,

It all depends on what you are trying to achieve and what are you trying to shoot. The shutter speed you need mainly depends on the lens you are using. Generally it is advisable to increase the ISO to get a specific shutter speed. Flash related settings are totally different.

    Hi Shreyas,

If you are shooting in low light situation inside a room, chances are you will need a very high ISO (probably not supported by your camera) to achieve a shutter speed of 1/500.

The approach to achieve it should be:
    – Keep in aperture priority mode.
    – Set the aperture to lowest f number supported by the camera.
    – Set the ISO to say 1000 and check the shutter speed you are getting.
    – Doubling the ISO will double the shutter speed. Use this calculation to get the desired shutter speed.

Also please feel free to post the test image taken which gives a better understanding on the situation.

    Rgds,
    Sudhir

As a first step, please do check http://www.ssp.photo/best which will help you shortlist the camera / lens. Honestly that budget is a bit less for wildlife upgrade.
