All lens you currently have will be compatible with any of the new Nikon DSLR you purchase. Even though D500 is an old camera, it is one of the best. I would highly recommend that, especially if wildlife photography is your area of interest.

Well you only have answered your question. You say you need a lens in the range of 24-70 kind of a range. Just go for that. Eben you can think of 24-105 range as well.

    Hi Deepak,

For your current requirement, you can go with EOS R10 (RF-S18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM)

Since you are mainly into travel and landscape, this will suffice.

Hi Abdul, Thanks for catching the topic duplication issue. That has been fixed. And yes, there is no more Capture NX-D, instead Nikon now have NX Studio.

Dear Deepak, f6.3 is probably the lowest f value supported by the lens. The upper limit can be adjusted in the camera or lens depending on the model of the lens. You have just mentioned 18-150 lens, I am not sure if it is Canon/Nikon/Sony/Tamron/Sigma. etc. In aperture priority mode of the camera, you can change the aperture value to a good upper limit of at least f22 in almost all lenses.

On a different note, an aperture of f8 or max f11 is good enough for majority of landscape images. Anything beyond that, you may lose the image quality.

Hi Vikram, I see that you have opened the welcome e-mail sent on 8th Sept after the course purchase. The welcome e-mail has clear instructions on how to access the course. Can you please relook at that e-mail and let us know if there is any confusion in the instructions mentioned in that. If that is the case then we will have to make corrections to the welcome e-mail.

Feedback appreciated so that others do not face the same issue.

    Rgds,
    Sudhir

August 19, 2023 at 3:23 pm in reply to: Focusing on eyes of two or more birds in a frame

The way the focusing works is that you can only focus at one single point in the frame, even though you may be using 9pt AF or grp.

To achieve what you are trying to accomplish, you need to understand depth of field (have a separate course on that). Then you can focus on the eye of any one bird and using the concept of depth of field get the other birds also in focus.
