Both are totally different and has no connection to evaluate which is more essential. Auto focus is the camera’s capability to automatically focus on the subject.
Auto Exposure lock is where you take the exposure of the subject for a specific tonality, lock that exposure and use it on another tonality.

    Hi Suhas,

    1. Level adjustment option is not available in LR, but you can use the whites and the blacks slider to get the same results.

    2. Once you come back to LR after using PS or 3rd party tools, the original file no is displayed back and then you an do an export.

    3. The latest version of LR has Denoise option available which is far better than the Topaz Denoise. The other tools which you use has its limitations when you move away from LR / PS.

    4. If it is PS tutorial you are referring to, it is under Image -> Adjustment -> Levels.

Hi Srinivas, Looks like the Nikon P1000 cannot be set for back button focusing. You will have to use the main focus / shutter release button itself.

There are multiple issues related to lowlight photography:

    – Auto focusing will be pretty slow depending on the lens used.
    – You will not get a good shutter speed and again depends on the aperture of the lens.
    – If you use high ISO, you may end up with noise in image.
    – If you are doing handheld photography, then you may get shake in image.
    – Image quality may not be upto mark in low light.

Of course in my basics and advance fundamentals of photography course all these are explained and how to overcome these. That’s the whole purpose of these courses.

Please do follow the learning path document and understand all these concepts.

    Hello Chethan,

Can you please let me know your location (city). Generally only the very first time some folks have faced this issue and once you revisit for the viewing it plays fine. I will anyways get this checked.

Shutter speed for a given ISO is directly dependent on amount on light falling on the subject. Without sharing those details difficult to provide solution. If you are shooting in very low light condition, then it will happen with any camera.

Roopin, I do have the Sony RX10 IV and it’s amazing for birding and wildlife photography. It’s auto focus is at par with any of the other Alpha series camera and pretty fast for a bridge camera. It should serve the purpose for you.

I always recommend to take it to authorised service centre. Any issues with the centre, you can always escalate it.

I always carry my tripod as check-in. If the tripod legs have spikes, then you are in trouble for carry on. I put the tripod in the cloth cover which came with it and put it in luggage.

It depends on what lens you will use it with. That said, 2x is not a TC I would recommend with any lens.

That’s a tough one! For bird photography no lens is long lens. That said, I would highly recommend the 500/600/800 prime lens for serious bird photography.
