Action Packed Sequence at Masai Mara – What an amazing day it was. First a missed Lion hunt and then this. The two Cheetahs were targeting a Topi, but then saw this baby Zebra passing by and we knew this has to be its target.

Hello everyone, hope your Sunday is going on good. Not too active here for past few days as I have been busy shooting the much awaited Nikon Z9 course, which is also applicable to any Nikon mirrorless cameras.

Done with the shoot and currently am editing the videos. I plan to release it tomorrow.

Keeping to the theme of mountains and reflections, posting a pic that was taken a long time ago, 2011 to be exact. This is from Yosemite National Park in the US. Maratei Beach – Auckland.
I went for a Morning Walk to Maratei Beach, as it was a sunny day. I saw this small bird – Sacred Kingfisher catching something and flying to tree to feed, this happened a few time. I followed the bird and was able to take this shot. Seems like the Kingfisher was caught a small crab from the water.

Camera Settings:
– Make sure to use proper metering and exposure compensation as that’s the key here.
– In my case, I used evaluative/matrix/multi-metering with an exposure compensation of -2 stops
– White balance was around 5800K in the camera
