Found this loner Black-winged Stilt wading through the waters. I liked the layers in the foreground and background. The Sun was really sharp and bright, I found a bed of flowers where beautiful Butterflies were going about their day. I just loved the way light illuminated them and the yellow flowers. Rainbow Lorikeet at bath time.
This was a chance capture, was photographing a turtle in the water when this lorikeet landed in water and splashed around for sometime. Had to switch settings and composition quickly to capture action. Captured hand-held and this was as low as I could go, given the high bank around the lake.
