As a start of my Wildlife photography journey, I want a suggestion, which camera to buy, i.e. Sony (Which model) or Nikon Mirrorless? and a good lens. I am presently managing with Nikon 5500. Kindly Please suggest.

My inclination would be towards Sony APCs and you can start with 6100/6400 with Tamron 17-70mm lens.

Ritesh, I believe the camera chooses the photographer (Like Harry Potter Story, the wand chooses the wizard), So, It would be good that you go through Sudhir’s course and learn about the Camera Buying guide. Then if you need advice, I will require some information before I make a potent suggestion.

    1. Your approx budget

    2. Are you brand agnostic? Or the other way around.

With this budget, you may go for an APC camera, e.g. A6600. Full frame is costly.
